Typeface Design - "Voltage"
Voltage is a typeface I designed after chromatic wood alphabets and old sign painting techniques. It works best with monochromatic and fluorescent color combinations. I'm currently working on making a rounded version to accompany this more blocky, geometric cut.
Typeface Design - "Inline Gothic"
This typeface was created while working for a client who had no money to buy fonts. I'd originally wanted to use HF&J's "Cyclone," which is what this is modeled after. I created an inline set to sit on top of an open source font called League Gothic. The final creation, Inline Gothic, is literally a poor man's Cyclone.
Wedding Letterpress
As any advertising couple knows, your own wedding correspondence is a great opportunity to blow some money on letterpressed designs and killer paper.
For the look, we decided to do all typography. The invitations were poster-sized, and all pieces were printed on 110 lb. Crane Lettra. John Sullivan of San Francisco ran the press. Everything came out looking great.
