Enter Sam, an ex-Navy Seal and all-around badass. Each morning, Sam was presented a duffel bag with the day's surprise equipment and he'd then set out to play that sport. In 30 days, he traveled by bus from Maine to California- starting the grueling test with sea kayaking and ending it with running the Catalina Marathon. The whole thing produced 30 webisodes- all of which lived on Facebook. I'd originally wanted to use HF&J's "Cyclone," which is what this is modeled after. I created an inline set to sit on top of an open source font called League Gothic. For the look, we decided to do all typography. The invitations were poster-sized, and all pieces were printed on 110 lb. Crane Lettra. John Sullivan of San Francisco ran the press.
